WHAT ARE THE GENETICS AND BIOTECHNOLOGY CONFERENCES?

The XII Genetics and Biotechnology Conferences / II Iberian Genetics and Biotechnology Conferences are a scientific event organized by the Genetics and Biotechnology students' association, together with professors from the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and also with the University of León - Spain. The main objectives of our conferences are the exchange of scientific knowledge between students, teachers and scientists, thus updating knowledge in the area of ​​Genetics and Biotechnology. In this sense, we bet on conferences given by scientists of national and international reputation as well as thematic workshops.

In 2020, the XII JGB / II JIGB will take place from the 20th to the 22nd of February at the University of Trás-Os-Montes and Alto Douro and, next year, will take place at the University of León, in Spain.
